
Dr. Emmanuel Imevbore is a Management Consultant, Executive Coach, Entrepreneur, Author and Publisher. As an organisational development specialist, in 2017, he co-founded the International Coaching and Mentoring Institute (ICMI), a specialist coaching solutions and coach-training Organisation, with operational networks in 8 African countries, as well as in the United Kingdom, United States of America, and Spain.
He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ICMI. He is also the Chairman of CEED Group, a consulting firm with interest in business management, financial advisory, property development and corporate training, as well as LEAP Ventures Ltd., a business solutions and investment Company. He has also recently become the Director of Afro Book Hub, a newly established book publishing Company aimed at promoting and supporting literary and reading skills, especially among young Africans and aspiring authors of African descent
Dr. Imevbore who once worked as a university lecturer and researcher at the University of Ibadan and Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) holds higher education degrees in Agriculture, Business Administration and Executive Leadership. He is a well recognised and experienced consultant and adviser to private and public sector operators across major African countries, notably Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia, Botswana and Kenya. This has helped him to structure trade and investment opportunities among these countries, working with diverse government agencies, private organisations and other institutionalized bodies.
He previously served as the General Manager and Coordinator of the Nigeria-South Africa Business Initiative (NISAB), a strategic partnership between the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria and the National Black Business Caucus of South Africa (NBBC). Among several other inter-country relationship facilitation activities, NISAB operated in 2001 to 2005 as part of the ‘private sector engine’ for the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission, NEPAD and the African Business Roundtable.
As a business strategist, coach and facilitator, Dr. Imevbore supports entrepreneurship and business development initiatives through the provision of business building tools, skills and techniques. He is especially passionate about developing and mentoring young Africans in the areas of entrepreneurship, leadership, financial intelligence and wealth creation. This passion led to his establishment of CEED Entrepreneurship School (CES), as well as the LEAP Foundation NPC, which are both dedicated to providing essential skills to the youths of Africa to enable them contribute more meaningfully to sustainable development in their respective countries.
Dr. Imevbore is an accomplished writer and author. He was for six years (2010 – 2016) a Columnist for the BusinessDay Newspapers. He has published several business, leadership, coaching and personal development books. Some of the most notable among his books are: Business Intelligence; Ten Major Problems that Cripple Businesses; Everyone Needs a Coach; Going for Gold; Turning Talents to Treasures; Business Inspirations; Money, Riches & Wealth; The Corporate Leader; LITE Up Your Economy; Personal Motivations for Success; Leadership Influence; Wealth Creation; Think, Believe and Achieve; and The Smart Organization; among others.
The book, “God Did Not Come to the Party,” which he has co-authored with Mr. Theo Nwamadi, a human resources and people development specialist is, according to him, one of his most inspiring and exciting book projects. This epic book captures the paradoxes of Nigeria, a potentially prosperous Country held back by a myriad of problems, many of which can be overcome with the right mindset, and effective leadership.
Like many other passionate Nigerians, Dr. Imevbore and Mr. Theo Nwamadi desire to see Nigeria’s emergence as a truly great country, attaining its true potential as a prosperous and powerful Country. They have teamed up to write this book to promote realistic conversations and efforts in this regard, with particular emphasis on inspiring and motivating positive youth engagement and contributions.
