
Mr. Theo Nwamadi is an accomplished Human Resources Development Specialist, Author, Mentor, and Entrepreneur. He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Interim Consulting (Pty) Ltd., an international top-tier human resources services provider and personnel development organisation. Among the Company’s long-standing, blue-chip clientele across South Africa and Nigeria are: The Dangote Group, Telkom SA, The MTN Group, Eskom SA, Globacom Limited, Standard Bank, ABSA Bank, World Vision, Anglo-American, DeBeers, Sasol Petrochemicals, First National Bank, South African Revenue Service, DHL Cargo Carriers Group, and Group Five.
Mr. Nwamadi has over the years played a strategic role in driving foreign investment into Nigeria. He has for instance facilitated the entry of prominent international brands such as the Pick n Pay Retail Group, Kia Corporation, Hyundai, Wynn’s SA Automotive Oils, and Maxidor SA, among others.
He has in addition held several strategic positions, and played impactful leadership roles in South Africa and Nigeria. Among these are, serving on the Boards of South Africa’s Sector Education and Training Authority Services (SETA) and Africa Personnel Services Organization (APSO). He has also contributed to diplomatic and community relations in Southern Africa as a Council Member at the Nigeria High Commission during the tenure of His Excellency Ambassador Buba Marwa, who had concurrent accreditation to Lesotho and Swaziland, now the Kingdom of eSwatini.
Mr. Nwamadi is a passionate advocate for progress in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. He is a past President of the Patriots Club of Nigeria International, a prominent South Africa-based socio-cultural organisation committed to championing development across the continent.
Mr. Nwamadi or ‘Theo’, as he is fondly called, is an alumnus of the iconic Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, where he earned a B.Sc (Hons) degree, and later lectured at the Borno College of Science and Technology. He developed his writing skills during his university years, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Student Union magazine. He has since authored over 22 articles published in Nigerian newspapers, and has won prizes in several Essay Competitions. He is a prominent member of the Broadcasters Global Forum where he actively contributes to thought leadership and development of responsible Nigerian and World Citizenship.
Notably, the Mgbirichi and Abakuru Autonomous Communities in Imo State, Nigeria, have honoured Mr. Nwamadi with the prestigious chieftaincy title, “Ome k’ahuru anya 1” in recognition of his sterling contributions to community development. He is a proud father to two sons, Emeka Thato and Chinedu Ofentse, both of whom are carving a niche for themselves in Information Technology. Mr. Nwamadi balances professional achievement with personal fulfilment, encouraging his sons to pursue their joint passion for soccer with their blossoming careers.
Mr. Nwamadi, in further establishing himself as a Writer, has co-authored the thought-provoking book, “God Did Not Come to the Party,” written with his long-time Executive Coach, Dr. Emmanuel Imevbore. The work is a rallying call to action, reminding Nigerians, especially the youths that, despite the immense societal challenges, they can transform the narrative, and secure a sustainable future for themselves and generations to come with purpose and resilience.
